Philippe Descheemaecker

Philippe Descheemaecker has been a lawyer for over 35 years (sworn in September 1988).

After studying law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (1986), he completed a complementary Master’s degree in environmental law and public real estate law at the Université Saint-Louis (2007).

This master’s degree covers not only public real estate law (land use planning law, urban planning, land policy instruments, state property, etc.) but also the many facets of environmental law (international, community, federal, and regional law, etc.) as well as its interactions with other branches of law, from which it adapts certain techniques (tax, criminal, judicial, and civil liability law).

He therefore quickly specialized in these subjects.

His practice also focuses on property law (ownership, easements and other real rights, residential and commercial leases) and construction law, which are related to the above.

Finally, over the past 10 years, he has developed extensive experience in immigration law.
